Villa Niu

Villa Niu is located on the old road between Pollensa and Cala St Vicente and is on walking distance to Pollensa. It has pretty private gardens and superb mountain views.

The villas open plan living/dining area is a delightful and welcoming room with terracotta tiles underfoot, exposed ceiling beams and walls painted in traditional white. Two comfy sofas are grouped around the fireplace at the mid point of the room which has a raised hearth and large chimney breast. The television with some satellite channels and a DVD player is nestled in an alcove under the stairs. There is an oval pine dining table with seating for six and a traditional wooden sideboard and corner dresser. At the far end of the room, an arched doorway leads into a small corridor with a door to the covered terrace and pool garden.

The kitchen has latticed wooden units, an eye level microwave, an oven and gas hob, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There are smart granite worktops and the room is attractively decorated in white and blue with gingham curtains at the window, above a small breakfast table.

Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Both rooms are decorated in a simple Mallorcan style with tiled floors, white walls and traditional wooden furniture. The rooms also have beamed ceilings and shutters at the windows. They share the use of a separate family bathroom with a bath and overbath shower, WC and twin washbasins.

A wooden staircase leads from the living room to a galleried upstairs sitting room which is a great place to curl up with a good book or enjoy a few quiet moments over a cup of coffee. Leading off this area is another full bathroom and a spacious twin bedroom with lovely views across the surrounding area.

In the outside area, the swimming pool is situated to the side of the house and has a slightly raised paved surround and a sunbathing area set with sun-loungers for your party. Beside the pool is a covered dining terrace, ideal for al fresco meals cooked on the barbecue. Parts of the garden are laid to lawn with plenty of space for children to play and there are neat hedge borders giving privacy and some natural shade. The lawn is dotted with small trees and palms and has superb views of the surrounding mountains.

Overlooking the orchard on the approach to the villa is a further covered terrace with patio furniture and Mediterranean greenery in stone pots - a nice spot to enjoy an after-dinner drink as the sun goes down.

Villa Botana 07

Botana is a popular complex of twelve semi-detached villas in the resort of Cala San Vicente, conveniently situated within just a short stroll to the sandy coves and resort amenities.

These semi-detached villas are reached via a track and are built on a hillside around a large swimming pool. The villas are all two storey and vary in sizes, however spacious, and simply furnished.

Each villa has either two, three or four bedrooms, all of them twins. All have combined lounge dining room with sofa bed and fireplace, kitchen, and sun terraces to both the front and rear of the accommodation. Moreover, the villas have washing machine.

NOTE: Due to the number of steps at this complex THE VILLAS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH WALKING DIFFICULTIES.

Holiday Apartment Pinos Altos 11 (T2) - Encinas

Pinos Altos is placed in the wonderful area of Cala San Vicente, a spot that retains its position as one of the most popular resorts on the island. Separated from Puerto Pollensa by the distinctive Serra de Tramontana mountain range, it nestles at the foot of a beautiful pine clad valley that leads down to the secluded sandy coves surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.

Cala San Vicente is the ideal spot for relaxing holiday. There are just a few shops, cafes, restaurants, hotels and a doctor surgery grouped around the two bays which are separated by a rocky headland.

A five minutes drive takes you to Puerto Pollensa and to the beautiful, historic Old town of Pollensa.

Pinos altos is set in a particularly quiet and pretty position towards to the rear of the resort and surrounded by tall pines from which it takes its name. Just a short walk from the beach and resort centre and with a bus stop along the road, it is an excellent choice for families with young children or for couples that want to relax.

There is a reception lounge area which gives access to the type 1 and 2 apartments, and to the sunbathing area plus the annex where we find the type 3 apartments. The main features of each type of apartment are as follows:
? Type 1 apartments have a twin bedroom, but with capacity for 4 people since two sofa beds are provided in the lounge area. There are 8 type 1 apartments, all placed in the main building. These apartments are nº 1-4-5-6-7-8-9-12.
? Type 2 apartments have a twin bedroom and a single bedroom, but with capacity for 5 people, since two sofa beds are provided in the lounge are. There are 4 type 2 apartments, all placed in the main building.These are nº 2-3-10-11.
? Type 3 apartments hav two twin bedrooms, but with capacity for 6 people since two sofa beds are provided in the lounge area. They are all placed in the annexe building. These are nº13-14-15-16.

All apartments have a comfortable lounge/dining area with satellite TV, and open plan kitchens with microwave and electric hob rings together with fridge/freezers. Fans are also provided (one per bedroom), and all apartments have furnished balconies or terraces (14 of them overlooking the pool).

The large communal swimming pool with a children pool section is set in a paved terrace with plenty of space. These lovely apartments are ideal for families with children.

There also are communal washing machines, public telephone and children games room where a ping-pong table is placed.
